Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. Work and life has decided to go crazy on me and take up too much time.
This weekend I will be moving. Ugh...I really am not looking forward to the actual moving process. Once I am moved in, I will be saving money and it should be great, but the process of moving my things out (and CLEANING my current apartment) will be horrible.
Plus, this weekend just happens to be Labor Day weekend. Labor Day weekend! It isn't supposed to be filled with labor, it is supposed to be lacking in that department.
And just to make it more stressful, 3 of my really old and good friends have decided to all stop in this weekend to go out and party like we used to back in college. It sounds fun, but with everything else going on (including the first UT football game of the season) it will be hard to fit everything and everyone into my schedule.
Here is a quick breakdown of my weekend "plate" so far:
1.) Move out all items from current apt to new house. Must be out by Sunday.
2.) Clean current apt. Must be done by Sunday.
3.) UT Football game Saturday at 6pm.
4.) Go out (every night) this weekend with all old friends
5.) Set up all my shit in new house...can't miss the first football weekend of the season!
It doesn't look like much, but the first two items will take a LOT of time. Wish me luck.

Busy weekend...
I was at a wedding this past weekend and got to see a LOT of my old friends from Middle School/High School. I had a blast and I'm really happy that we are all still close enough to where we can not see each other for years, but then show up and party together like no time has passed.
I am also very happy that some things don't change. My friends Hamilton and Fredo (the names have been changed to protect their identities....kind of) decided to get hammered and crash the wedding. I have never heard the F-bomb dropped so many times during absolute silence in my life! At one point, Hamilton decided to sit down at a table of grandparents and have a drink and share stories. Immediately after he finished talking (but the others were still in mid sentence) he stands up and yells "SHIT! Old people love me!"
Hilarious.
They were kicked out shortly after, but it was funny while it lasted. That is the first time we have all been together in years, so I hope we can do it again soon.
BUT
Since I was gone all weekend I missed out on a lot. Here is a list of everything I missed this weekend:
1.) Bernie Mac died (age 50)
2.) Isaac Hayes died (age 65)
3.) Hayden Panettiere's dad was arrested for spousal abuse
4.) John Edwards admitted to having an affair, killing his political career
5.) Michael Phelps has 2 gold medals so far
6.) Pineapple Express - I still haven't seen it!
7 & 8.) Bia and Branca Feres. Twin Brazilian sinchronized swimmers (not in the Olympics). If you don't know who they are, look them up.*
9.) Bruce Springsteen is playing the Super Bowl halftime show
In completely unrelated news: I have become completely obsessed with motorcycles (The Honda CBR600 and CBR1000 in particular) and am looking to buy a used one.
*Seriously, if you haven't seen pictures of these twins yet, you need to do it now.
