Auto Bailout

I am a firm believer in helping people out....but this auto bailout has gotten a little out of hand. I do think that the economy will be hit hard if the big three auto industries have to file for bankruptcy, which would be horrible, but just giving them billions of dollars for them not fixing their problems a long time ago seems pointless.

In my mind, if we do end up bailing them out (which I am not saying isn't needed, I am just saying that it is only a temporary solution) they are only going to keep making the same mistakes and eventually go bankrupt anyway.

I think this poster says it best. Make sure to read the fine print:

The Lonely Island

I remember a few years ago I was at a party and (for some reason) they needed an iPod to hook up to the surround sound because the one they were using broke/was stolen/I don't really care, and it just so happened that mine was in my truck outside. When I put it on the iPod dock the first song that came on was Incredibad's "Lazy Sunday" (You know - the one featured on SNL and had more than a million hits on YouTube by the next morning). Everyone thought it was odd that I actually went and added the track to my iPod....

They though I was weird?!?! They were the ones missing this great track on their iPods...

BUT a few people (apparently they were aliens because they hadn't heard the track/seen the video yet) thought it was hilarious and asked if there were any more songs by Incredibad on my iPod. Most people responded that they weren't a real band and that they didn't have any more songs....

WRONG! Technically. The band is called The Lonely Island, and the only difference is that it existed outside of SNL and didn't have Chris Parnell in it. Incredibad AND The Lonely Island are both products of the trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone and LI was created as a part of their show "Awesometown." All their songs can be found here

I did happen to have another song by The Lonely Island at the time! It was called "The Heist" and it was a HUGE hit because almost no one at that particular party heard this song before and everyone was laughing their respective asses off.**

Of course, after it was over they all wanted to hear "Dick in a Box" - which isn't Incredibad or Lonely Island, but since it has Andy Samberg in it they thought it was the same. It was cool, I happened to have that one as well.

So it brings me MUCH pleasure to introduce a new song that is from the band The Lonely Island - This is their song "Jizz in my pants."

**Note: Here is The Heist by The Lonely Island.

Proposition 8....The Musical

For the record; I am from California and am against Propostion 8, and would have voted against it if I still lived there.

If you agree, watch something I do agree with - Proposition 8 The Musical! See how many celebrities you can find in this new video. Neil Patrick Harris and Jack Black rock in this one!

If you don't, watch the video and you might learn something. Or you might laugh. If you do neither then you shoud probably go to work or do something boring...
